Codemasters won't be releasing its Formula 1 game for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC until 2010, with the Wii and PSP versions hitting first later this year.

"The scale of development that was required for the next-gen projects, especially with something like Formula 1, to it do it on such a massive high def scale requires a lot more development time than less powerful platforms like the PSP and Wii,psp games download," brand manager Paul Walters told IGN.

"Codemasters has a great heritage when it comes to racing games and their reputation is second to none," said F1's ringmaster Bernie Ecclestone in an official announcement. "We're working very closely together on the upcoming Formula One titles and are very impressed with what we have seen."

To add even more Lego flavor to the mix, the game will feature challenges that allow you to "destroy a giant robot, summon a storm, and demolish a skyscraper." One important bullet-point glaringly missing from all news on the game (and its Beatles-themed brethren, for that matter) is the ability to export the songs into Rock Band 2, a la Rock Band 1's tracks. And good for them! While some dismiss this kind of business as childish - purile,free psp games, even - we don't. Bring it on! The shittier the shit-talking the better, as this industry would be a boring place without it.

Which brings us to an interview on Gamasutra, with Sony's Peter Dille, who recycles a Jack Tretton quote by saying:
